Langres cheese is a French cow’s milk cheese that originated from the plateau of Langres in the region of the Champagne Ardenne, France. Since 1919, the cheese has been granted AOC designation. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk it is a vigorous cheese with a pronounced odour. The taste of salt is present, making the flavour of the cheese distinct without being aggressive, which makes it very agreeable. Very aromatic and complex.
