Bastardo cheese may be a bastard by name but a prince of taste by nature! The “Bastard” is a cheese whose production dates back to 800 AD. So named because it is a hybrid of milks. Unpasteurized cow’s and goat’s milk cheese from Piedmonte, cured and aged in grappa for 18 months.
